"Efficacy of the Zero Suicide framework in reducing recurrent suicide attempts: cross-sectional and time-to-recurrent-event analyses" by Stapelberg et al.

The authors found that implementation of the Zero Suicide framework clinical suicide prevention pathway (SPP) reduced repeated suicide attempts after an initial attempt. This study took place in a large public mental health service in Australia. Individuals on the SPP after a suicide attempt were provided several evidence-based interventions including screening and assessment, safety planning, rapid referral, structured follow up, warm handover, support and transition services.
