In this paper, Dr. Kathryn Turner et al. describe the process of implementation of Zero Suicide Framework (ZSF) at the Gold Coast Mental Health and Specialist Services, Australia, following the seven key elements of ZSF. The paper outlines improvements in terms of process implementation, enhanced staff skills and confidence, positive cultural change and innovations, as well as reductions in rates of repeated suicide attempts and deaths by suicide.
