Preventing Suicide in Emergency Department Patients
The self-paced online course is for healthcare professionals who conduct screening, assessment, and brief interventions, such as safety planning and lethal means counseling in the ED. It also addresses person-centered care for individuals at suicide risk, individual safety during the ED visit, and incorporating suicide prevention into discharge planning.
